Managing Metaobject Entries

Create metaobject entries to store data. Edit and delete entries to easily keep information accurate across multiple stores. The Image with text definition uses Shopify's native Image field, so the entry list shows the uploaded file itself — here shoes.png.

Metaobject Entry Fields

Modify and edit the fields of an entry. The Image field holds a real file reference: upload or swap the image straight from the entry with Change, or drop it with Clear. Shopify stores the file itself and serves it from your store's CDN, so it stays valid when the entry syncs to a child store.

Parent Store Metaobjects

Manages and oversees all metaobjects in the Shopify store while ensuring definitions and entries are seamlessly synchronized with the connected child store.

Child Store Synced Metaobjects

View all synced metaobjects from the parent store.

Image-with-Text Displayed on the Online Store

image-with-text created using metaobjects are displayed in the online store, enhancing content management and providing a more seamless and efficient experience for users. The image rendered on the storefront comes from the entry's Image field, so updating the file in the parent store updates it everywhere it's synced.
